Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy explains how GourmetVision AI ("GourmetVision," "we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, stores, and shares information when you use gourmetvision.app and related services.
1. Information we collect
We may collect account information such as your email address, authentication identifiers, profile settings, restaurant information, and preferences. When you use product features, we process the photos, prompts, style references, generated images, captions, nutrition inputs, social schedules, and other content you choose to provide.
We also receive limited technical and security information needed to operate the service, such as request metadata, IP-derived security signals, timestamps, error information, and usage records. We do not intentionally collect full payment-card numbers.
2. How we use information
- Provide, secure, troubleshoot, and improve GourmetVision.
- Authenticate users and prevent abuse or unauthorized access.
- Generate requested AI content and maintain usage/Lens balances.
- Store and organize restaurant assets and account settings.
- Process subscriptions, purchases, and billing events.
- Connect and publish to third-party services when you explicitly request those actions.
- Comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms.
3. AI processing
When you request AI features, relevant prompts and image content may be sent to Google AI services to generate or analyze content. We send only the data needed for the requested feature. Third-party AI processing is also governed by the applicable provider terms and privacy practices.
4. Payments
Payments and subscription management are handled by Stripe. Stripe may collect payment details, billing information, and transaction metadata directly. GourmetVision receives identifiers and status information needed to activate purchases and subscriptions, but does not store your full card details.
5. Google, Meta, and social integrations
If you connect Google Business Profile, Facebook, or Instagram, we process authorization information necessary to perform the actions you request. Access tokens are stored server-side in encrypted form. You may disconnect an integration, and permissions may also be revoked through the relevant provider.
6. Storage and sharing
Account data and uploaded/generated media may be stored using Firebase and Google Cloud services. Selected client galleries can be shared through random, expiring links. Anyone who receives a valid gallery link may view the content included in that share until the link expires, so share links only with intended recipients.
7. Service providers and disclosures
We use service providers such as Google/Firebase, Google AI, Stripe, and authorized social platforms to operate requested functionality. We may also disclose information when required by law, to protect users or the service, in connection with a corporate transaction, or with your direction or consent. We do not sell personal information for monetary consideration.
8. Retention
We retain information for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the service, maintain security and billing records, comply with law, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements. Content you delete may remain temporarily in backups or logs before routine deletion. Expiring gallery-share records are designed to stop providing public access after their expiration period.
9. Security
We use technical and organizational safeguards including authenticated APIs, access controls, encryption for sensitive integration tokens, request validation, rate limiting, and restricted server credentials. No internet service can guarantee absolute security.
10. Your choices and rights
You can update many profile settings in the service, disconnect integrations, and delete supported content. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights to access, correct, delete, or obtain information about personal data. To make a privacy request, contact us using the address below. We may need to verify your identity before completing a request.
11. Children
GourmetVision is a business-oriented service and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
12. International processing
Our providers may process information in countries other than the one where you live. Where required, we rely on appropriate legal mechanisms for cross-border processing.
13. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy as the service changes. We will post the updated version here and revise the effective date. Material changes may also be communicated through the service when appropriate.
